The best Farming Pals at a glance

Pick the Ranch Pal by what it drops, not by its Farming level. Mozzarina gives Milk, Beegarde gives Honey, Cremis gives Wool, and Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo share the highest Farming level at 4 for High Quality Pal Oil and cloth. A level 4 Pal that makes the wrong item is worth nothing to your cake supply.

Farming Pals for every stage

Use these groups as practical checkpoints, then compare their exact work levels in the directory.

  1. 01

    Starter Ranch

Chikipi supplies Eggs, Lamball supplies Wool, and Vixy digs up items. All three have Farming level 1 and introduce different Ranch outputs.

  2. 02

    Growing Ranch

Mozzarina adds Milk, Beegarde adds Honey, and Shroomer adds Mushroom or Cavern Mushroom. Their outputs matter more than treating Farming level as one universal score.

  3. 03

    Advanced Ranch

Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo reach Farming level 4, while Foxcicle reaches level 3 and produces Ice Organ. Choose the output your production chain needs.

Best Farming Pals by use case

Highest Farming level

Start with the level 4 group when raw Farming suitability is the first requirement.

Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo share Farming level 4, but Golden Harvest produces High Quality Pal Oil with a small Gold Coin chance while Gilded Shroud produces High Quality Cloth.

Cake ingredient Ranch

Use dedicated Ranch slots for the ingredients your breeding production consumes.

Chikipi produces Eggs, Mozzarina produces Milk, and Beegarde produces Honey. Their combined value comes from covering different ingredients, not from sharing one identical work profile.

Material and organ Ranch

Compare Partner Skills when the goal is a crafting material rather than food.

Sibelyx Primo produces High Quality Cloth, Foxcicle produces Ice Organ, Surfent produces Leather, and Sootseer produces Bone. Their Farming levels range from 4 to 2.

Focused Ranch workers

Favor Pals with no secondary suitability when you want a simple, easy to read Ranch assignment.

Mozzarina and Melpaca each have Farming level 2 with no secondary work. Woolipop and Woolipop Terra have Farming level 1 with the same focused work profile but different Ranch drops.

Detailed guide

How to get more from your Farming Pals

Farming level decides how fast that item arrives, and it is the easiest suitability in the game to raise. Base levels stop at 4, but the cap is 10, and Farming is the only job with passives that add suitability outright: Ranch Master gives +2 and Farmhand gives +1. Add a Cinnamoth at the base and the whole Ranch gains another level.

How Farming suitability and Partner Skills work together

Work suitability describes a base job and its level. Partner Skills can change how a Pal supports that job, what it produces, or what it does alongside the player. Compare both before choosing a worker.

Palworld Dumud GildPal Oil and Gold CoinDumud Gild

Golden Harvest: Golden Harvest sometimes drops High Quality Pal Oil at the Ranch and has a small chance to drop Gold Coin. Farming level does not make those two resources interchangeable with another Pal output.

Palworld Sibelyx PrimoHigh Quality ClothSibelyx Primo

Gilded Shroud: Gilded Shroud sometimes makes High Quality Cloth at the Ranch. Compare Sibelyx Primo when cloth is the goal rather than choosing it only because it shares the highest Farming level.

Palworld BeegardeHoney productionBeegarde

Worker Bee: Worker Bee sometimes drops Honey at the Ranch. Beegarde also has many secondary jobs, so the Ranch assignment and surrounding base work both affect how useful that profile feels.

Palworld MozzarinaFocused Milk productionMozzarina

Milk Maker: Milk Maker sometimes drops Milk at the Ranch. Mozzarina has no secondary work suitability, which makes its intended Ranch role especially clear.

Farming level first, Ranch output second

The directory is sorted by base Farming level, highest first, straight from the game data. Ranch output is the second column because it is the decision that actually matters: High Quality Pal Oil, cloth, Honey, Milk, and Eggs solve different problems, and no amount of Farming level turns one into another.

Secondary jobs sit beside Farming rather than being scored. Extra jobs make a slot flexible in a small base and pull a Pal off the Ranch in a busy one, so the raw numbers stay visible for you to judge.

How to choose a Farming Pal for your base

Choose the Ranch output first

Start with the material your base needs. A Pal that produces Milk cannot replace a Honey producer, and a high Farming level does not change the item named by its Partner Skill.

Farming is the easiest suitability to max

Base Farming stops at 4, but the cap is 10 and Farming is the only job with passives that raise suitability directly. Ranch Master adds +2 and Farmhand adds +1, a Cinnamoth at the base adds +1 to everyone else, an Applied Ranching Handbook adds +1, and each condensing rank adds another. A level 4 Pal carrying both passives is already at 7 before you condense it once, which is why breeding the passives onto the producer you want beats hunting a higher base level.

Breed the passives onto the Pal that makes the right item

Ranch Master and Farmhand can move onto any Pal, but a Partner Skill cannot. Pick the Pal whose drop your base needs, then use the Breeding Path to route both passives onto it from your own collection. That is far easier than waiting for the perfect Pal to appear with them already attached.

Watch for competing base jobs

Mozzarina has no other job, so it stays on the Ranch. Beegarde covers many jobs and will drift to whatever facility is closest. In a base with benches and a Ranch, the focused Pal usually produces more.

Best Farming Pals FAQ

Which Pal has the highest Farming level in Palworld?
Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo both have Farming level 4 in the current Pal data. Dumud Gild produces High Quality Pal Oil with a small Gold Coin chance, while Sibelyx Primo produces High Quality Cloth.
Which Pals produce cake ingredients at the Ranch?
Chikipi sometimes lays Eggs, Mozzarina sometimes drops Milk, and Beegarde sometimes drops Honey when assigned to the Ranch.
Is the highest Farming level always the best choice?
No. Farming level ranks suitability, but the Partner Skill determines the Ranch output. Choose the resource first, then compare levels and secondary jobs among suitable candidates.
Which passives improve Farming suitability?
Ranch Master adds +2 and Farmhand adds +1. They are the only passives in the game that raise a work suitability, and both can be bred onto the Ranch Pal you already want.
How do I get a Pal to Farming level 10?
Start from a level 4 producer, add Ranch Master and Farmhand for +3, station a Cinnamoth at the base for +1, read an Applied Ranching Handbook for +1, and condense for +1 per rank. Farming reaches the cap far more easily than any other job.
What does Cinnamoth do for a Ranch?
Cinnamoth has no Farming suitability of its own, but Charming Spore gives +1 Farming to every other Pal at that base. In a Ranch running several producers it is usually the strongest single slot you can fill. The bonus does not stack.
How is the complete Farming Pal list ordered?
By Farming level, highest first, with Partner Skills and secondary jobs shown beside each Pal so you can judge the Ranch output for yourself.
